Concerning stripping articles from file names: fine, no worries, I will just disable the stripping until further.

Concerning CPU saturation when monitoring archive disks: Do you have any ideas how I can minimize this issue? Why does the plugin do work even if I am not inside Video Archive? For me it would be better if Video Archive could re-scan all the archive drives each time I enter into the plug-in...

The plug-in monitors the drives using built-in Windows functions, so it is sent an event when a file is added or deleted. For recordings, all it should do is add the file to the list unless this is the first recording of a new show, in which case an Internet lookup will be done to download an image for the show. You can turn off the auto fetch behavior on the memory tab of the plug-in config settings. On delete it should just remove the file from the list. If you zip up and post your archiver*.log files from the Jeff subdirectory I can take a look.

Here are the zipped log files.
History for log files:
1. Deleted old log files and restarted recording service
2. Start recording of a program (Toy Story 2). CPU utilization shoots to 100% for close to 3 minutes.
3. The recording of Toy Story 2 does not show up in GBPVR's Recording Status for a minute after the recording was started from the EPG

Hope you can get some hints from the log files.

Question: I have Showanalyser outputting an .edl file along with the .txt with the commercial break information, so that I can use Stattik's autotranscoding plugin. However, VA only archives the .txt file along with the recording, leaving the .edl file in the original directory. Is there any way to make VA archive the .edl file as well?
