WinTV 401?

I am wondering if this card (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6815116606) will work with GB-PVR. While I don't see it on the supported list, It is similar to the other Happauge cards listed, and sometimes things work even though the aren't officially supported. Just kinda wondering...also, if anyone has any personal experiance with it, it would be great to hear. Thanks!

No this card wont work. That said, you *might* be able to work with the addition of the plugin from here: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=2753

Can I ask what specifically about this card makes it incompatible, other than the fact that it isn't on the list of officially supported cards?

Its missing the MPEG2 encoding hardware that is present on the PVR150/250/350/500. GB-PVR is designed for analog cards with hardware MPEG2 encoding.
