Running a batch file before recording starts

Is it possible for gbpvr to run a batch file before the recording starts? For example, I would like to kill the hauppauge radio program before gbpvr starts recording.

I've searched and looks like ParallelProcessing.bat might be the place to do it, but does it run BEFORE recording starts?

No, it runs soon after the recording is started.

There is no batch file that is run before a recording starts.

Cheers, thanks for the answer sub. Wonder if there's any way I can achieve what I want. I would love to have the radio on and turned off during recording and started back again after recording.

Would be great to have a PreProcessing.bat but that's up to you sub

Does the built in radio support not work for you? Using the built in stuff, it stops the radio when a recording is about to start.

Check out the PVRPower Tray Utility. It supports the preprocessing.bat which might do what you want.
