Cyberlink.....

GB-PVR has detected the following multiplex filters on your machine:

Found: CyberLink MPEG Muxer
FILE: C:\WINDOWS\system32\MpgMux.ax
VERSION: 5.0.0727

If you're running WinXP SP1 or higher, you will also be able to use the built-in DVR-MS mux filter

Is 'Cyberlink' selected on the misc tab or the DVR-MS one?

All I can really suggest is try a later version of the cyblink mux. That version you're running is known to have a few problems. Use the forum search feature to search for "5.0.0.1307". Alternatively, try switching to the Microsoft DVR-MS mux.

worked fine - but converting it to MPEG was a real pain - and didn't generally work happily......at the end of the day, I want to burn stuff onto CD (have been using mydvd) but none of it is working properly.

I'll try the other Mux.....

thanks

Make sure you de-register the old one, or it'll most likely still be used. Run muxchecker to make sure the old one isnt listed.

done 30 min recording.....seems fine except.....it's got lots & lots of blocking - making it almost unwatchable.

I'm having same problem. My recordings are cutting short too. As an example I will record a one hour show. Only 3 or 4 minutes will record. Last night I set it to record a one hour show and only 21 minutes recorded. The Icon for GBPVR recording service shows green that it's recording but when I go to play it back afterwards is when I get the bad surprise. I ran a mux check and it says NO MULTIPLEXER FILTERS WHERE FOUND ON YOUR MACHINE.

This only started happening recently. I've uninstalled and re-installed GBPVR a few times with no success in fixing the problem. How do I add a multiplexer filter on my computer and if so which is recommended?
