Gbpvr can see recordings in my (networked) video library fine, but my MVP cannot. Is it something I am missing or is it even possible for the MVP to do such a task?

You may need to change the logon account of the GBPVR service. Use a logon account with network access. I am thinking that you are starting the local GBPVR from your own logon account and so it works.

David's right on with that. I had the same problem with My Music not showing in MVP when it was pointing to the network.

I don't know if I am doing this right but I went to the services.msc menu and clicked on the gbpvr recording service. I changed the login setting from "Local System Account" to my login first and then one of the other default login accounts on my system then restart the service but that does not seem to work. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Kevin

Whichever account you choose to run the GBPVR Recording Service with, first log in with that account, map the drives & make them "persistent", then make sure you can access them.

Better not to use mapped drives at all. UNC paths will be much better.

Using the UNC path resolved the issue after 2 days of headaches Smile . Simply mapping the drive did not work.

Thanks everyone for your assistance in this...
