'my music' plug-in

hello,
i can't believe i am having such a problem installing this plug-in. it's got to be extracted to the gbpvr root directory, just what is that directory? in other words what folder do i extract it to? i have tried the gbpvr folder and the folder above that with no luck. i can see the menu item in the config program, but not in GBPVR.

the gbpvr root directory is there directoy where you installed gbpvr (where gbpvr.exe is found).

if its showing up in the config, check the gbpvr.exe.log file to see what went wrong.

I thought that maybe the way I mis-installed was an issue so I uninstalled the program (gbpvr) to start over clean. but after re-installing the plug-ins were still there! not sure why or how. anyway any help with this issue will be much appreciated.

ps - i could not find the file "gbpvr.exe.log"
how can i remove the plug-in completely so as to effect a total reinstall?

success! (sort of) I got gbpvr to recognize ‘my music’. how i'm not understanding how to tell the plug-in where my music files are located. it says it will scan in the listed root for music files, but does seem to allow for a scan of another location. (my music files are not in the root they are on another hard drive dedicated to the music files).

you must add a "Virtual Root" item in the my music config, those are the locations that will be listed in the plugin.

thanks for your help and sorry about my lack of computer knowledge. is there anywhere I can go to get detailed instructions (step by step) for operation of the plug-in? in other words something that explains all these steps in laymen terms. I guess I’m having trouble with the terminology - i.e: understanding that ‘virtual root’ or ‘listed root’ means the location of your music files. I have been able to get the player to play individual songs, but after loading a play list nothing happens (they are visible in the list). I also only have icons for the albums in detail view, but no where else.
