Just noticed, whenever I run GBPVR config and make a change, my language.xml file is erased. I have attached the most recent config logs.
I am using GBPVR 96.8.

HtV is correct. You should only ever edit the language.xml file in the language directory.

Erased.

I just noticed the Language dir. There isn't a language.xml in there. Here is a listing of what is in there:

C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\Language
Language.ANSI.DAN.XML
Language.ANSI.DEU.XML
Language.ANSI.DUT.XML
Language.ANSI.FIN.XML
Language.ANSI.FRA.XML
Language.ANSI.ITA.XML
Language.ANSI.NOR.XML
Language.ANSI.SPA.XML
Language.ANSI.SWE.XML
SelectLanguage.XML

I use the language.xml to change the plugin names on the main menu.

XRecord ---> "Recordings"
System ---> "Exit/System"

With the current version should the language.xml file be moved to the language directory?

I do a similar renaming as A Brass - I think I tried moving the language.xml to the language directory, but it wasn't picked up. Ended up using the workaround of just leaving it in the gbpvr directory, but making it read-only.

Just plonk your file in the languages directory, and add it to the SelectLanguage.XML file.

I had tried that, and nothing happened. Then, I noticed the Language selection drop-down list on the front page of the config app. DOH! :p
