Found the answer before I posted and thought I would share it:

This was annoying. 99% of my music collection is q6 ogg vorbis files. I have M3U playlists for each album. Some have EXTINF and some don't. The M3U's were created with either audiograbber, EAC or MP3BookHelper and work in every other player. Each time I launch the M3U and as each new song is accessed, I get a series of two boxes that both say:
The file you are attempting to play has an extension that does not match the file format. Playing the file may result in unexpected bahavior.
Do you want the Player to try to play the file?
I click yes twice and it plays just fine. I check the box the says "Don't ask me again for this extension" but it still comes up for each song. Really annoying. Does anyone have a fix? Thanks.
