How Can I Playback a dvd with Divx files through GBPVR?

I archived some tv episodes(divx format) onto a blank dvd and burned it with Nero in data mode. When I insert the dvd and try to play back the divx files under the dvd menu option, it says, no dvd is inserted.

I realize that the dvd I made is not formatted in a conventional dvd structure, but isn't there some kind of plugin or way to be able to playback divx files from a dvd source in GB-PVR?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Which video plugin do you use??

Since it's just a data disk, can't you just set up a directory path to it, then navigate to the file you want to watch?? In the same way you'd go to a directory on your hard drive.


What you'll need to do is make the disk show up to the GBPVR file system. My Videos can probably do this.

problem solved, thanks. I added the dvd drive to "my video library" in the config. Now all I do is open up the dvd player in the My Video Library option to view and playback the files.

What a great program, very malleable. Big Props to GB-PVR.
