Episode Numbers - RenameRecordings or MyVideos?

If you're looking for an alternate source of tv show listings try out http://www.episodeworld.com/ I've been using it as a guide for my episodes (manual renaming) and it hasn't failed me yet. Doesn't have all the frills and reviews and synopses that tv.com has but its very accurate.

sadly their info doesnt seem to accurate, missing director/writer a lot etc.

tv.com has a crap load of users maintaining it, but who redesigned their website removed some key fields....

i guess i could always use episodeworld.com to get the "overall episode number" if using eg "Showname - SeasonxEpnum" and then use that to get tv.com guide data

and if using episode name for the lookup get the overall number from tv.com and use that to get the SeasonxEpnum from episodeworld.

just a few more lookups required....

nah you will have to wait for tv.com to readd this data.

its too messy to do with the way ive got the lookups workign now (all in a generic config file).

i have found epguides.com to be pretty accurate, it links to tv.com for show info.

Someday.... I just know it... someday...

TVGuideSupercharger adds the Zap2It onscreen episode number to the subtitle for RenameRecording.
But if you try it, limit your EPG download to 11 days max, until Zap2It fixes their delivery problems.

Thanks... I was looking into your program in the other thread... I have d'loaded but not installed yet. I didn't see anywhere in the thread where it mentioned that it would add it to the filename in RenameRecording.
