Anyone managed to get this combo working?

I tried

1. GBPVR call comskip directly
2. Postprocessing.bat

No go for both approaches.

The current version of comskip checks the extension of the file to know what to do.
I am not sure how unicode influences this because I have never tested if with unicode filename.
Can you mail me a (very)short file with a unicode file name so I can test?

Quite simple to replicate.

Just rename any mpg file to be this
Campus Superstar 校园SuperStar - 第四场半决赛_20060320_20002100.mpg

or try it with any unicode, for eg. Latin accented characters.

Indeed it does not work.
No quick fix possible either.
Suggest you use postprocessing.bat to rename the file before running comskip and rename the comskip output to the correct name when finished.
So replace

comskip %1

with

move %1 temp.mpg
comskip temp.mpg
move temp.* "%~dpn1.*"

Please check if the wildcard ('*') works, otherwise split over a line per used extension.

EDIT: I did not check if unicode filenames are usable in .bat files.

No problems. You gave me a good idea.

If batch files cant handle unicode, I will whip up some other script to do the rename operations.

Thanks for the quick response.

This support forum is incredible. Smile
