For the WAF my suggestion is simple - no Email no scheduling of live TV... And regardless of MVP or not. It would be nice if GBPVR could behave like the TV for live viewing.
So there are two different needs (in priority order) for me:
1. You go the the guide and look around then you decide that you would like to watch a specific channel that you had in mind anyway. You hit OK and the "Watch" option is there even if you are not precisely on the currently transmitted show. I don't know if there is a time leeway on this in config.xml that I could widen, but my set up at least requires it to be very close, if not exact.
(Personally I am not bothered about setting alarms for a specific show, even though my TV will do it).
2. An enhanced (or maybe just different) version of the mini-guide which allows you to just see a scrollable list box to select your viewing channel from. WAF is not good at remembering the numbers.
One question you might pose is why don't I just use the TV. The TV doesn't do live pause.
And one thing that I have learnt in this excercise is that GBPVR does most things already. If you are still learning (aren't we all) then it is quite hard to come up with wish list items that are not there already - but you just couldn't find them.
