EPG Update failing

Your problem looks like one of two things - either zap2it's server was down when you tried, or more likely, a firewall at your end is getting in the way.

Thats what I thought.... But i've disabled the firewall, still no go. I didn't think that was the problem, as i've tried GBPVR in the past, and never had trouble updating the EPG. Is there a way I can test to make sure my zap2it account is activated or would there be a different error if that was the problem?

Yeah, you'd get a quite different error.

I've just checked zap2it is working fine for me at the moment with my account. If you want to send my your zap2it username and password, I'm happy to test it for you. My email is support@devnz.com

Sorry for the bother, rebooting fixed it. Prior to rebooting, I wasn't seeing any traffic. I ran trafshow/sniffit on my unix router and nothing was coming through. Not sure what the problem was, but it works now.
