I am using a PVR150 and recorded a show last night, as I do every week. The Recordings window oddly showed two identical programs recorded for the exact same time, same name - however, one was failed, the other listed no errors.

I deleted the failed recording and proceeded to watch the successful recording.

Problem is I think, that there is no index on the recording. The Pause key does pause the video, but when I press it again - the video returns to the beginning. No skip or FF or REW controls have any effect, except to bring up the "status/progress" indicator at the top of the screen. I tried using remote control, keystrokes, and mouse controls to advance the video - but nothing had any effect.

Is this likely a corrupt or missing index and if so, can I force a rebuild of the index?

It sounds like the PVR150 timestamp bug: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=14006

Yeah, I think the guys that had this problem could run it through something to correct it, but I cant remember exactly what. It's name is probably mentioned somewhere in that thread.
