Hi folks,

I've searched for this and been monitoring the forum for a while, my apologies if this has already been covered...

I have an ATI 550 Pro and I'm in the UK.

I upgraded to GB-PVR v0.96.12 from v0.93.10 (a clean install) and initially had a corrupted picture as shown in the attached screen grab.

Editing direct.ini to 'ForceStandard=256' gets rid of the corruption but the aspect is off. Editing again to 'ForceStandard=18' fixes the offset. The problem is I have to go through this edit everytime I run GB-PVR! If I leave it at 'ForceStandard=18' I get the picture corruption.

Any ideas please?

Cheers ... Paul

Have you tried F7 for changing aspect while watching, you can change the various AR-setings in config.xml if needed.
AMD Athlon 64 3000, HDD: 80, 120, 200 GB, Hauppauge 350 + 150, MVP, Asus 6000L Laptop client, Asus X50sl client,
Fritz!box 7140 modem/router, GBPVR 1.3.7.

Hi HtV... I should have been more specific, my use of "aspect" may not be technically correct, I'm not sure!

With 'ForceStandard=256' the bottom of the picture is cut off and missing, no matter which aspect is selected with F7. Setting it to '18' cures this and gives me the full picture but the next time I run GB-PVR I get the corruption once more.

I am using the latest drivers for the card btw. Also, I would not know what to edit in config.xml but I could experiment.

Thanks for your help.

Ok... after a bit of playing I've found that if I leave 'ForceStandard=256', run GB-PVR, view TV and then exit 'live TV' and go back to 'live TV' then the picture if fine!

Thanks SUB for your excellent software.
