I've been running a pair of these for a few weeks.. GB-PVR recognises and uses both, but I seem to be getting an awful lot of 0KB recordings, particularly when GB-PVR chooses the stick designated #1.

Are there any known issues with running two of these USB tuners - like driver problems/config issues etc? As I said, it seems to work most of the time, but something about it feels a little flakey - it's got me wondering if it _should_ be working at all.

Thanks in advance for the advice..

It should be fine.

What mux are you using?

The Cyberlink v5.0.0813..

Thanks for the megaquick reply - I just wondered if there was something I was missing in the configs that would make things feel a little smoother. Plus the fact that I'd not read of anywhere saying that two of these play well together from a Hauppauge driver point-of-view.

The 0KB issue has cropped up quite a bit lately, and it does seem to tally with recordings I see made on device #1 in particular, but I might be wrong.

Thanks again!

Are you positive both devices are functioning?

When I say "it should be fine", I mean "it should be fine as long as the HVR-900 drivers support multiple devices". I know there Nova-T drivers do, but that wasnt always the case. Initially the Nova devices only supported one device.

See, that's what I'm afraid of.. lol. I know your s/w can handle it, but I'm not sure that two play well together at a system level. As I said, something just feels a little flakey. Maybe I'm being paranoid. They show up as separate devices in Windows, but I don't know enough about it to check beyond that.

I unplugged them the other day, removed the drivers, and reinstalled them in an attempt to tidy up... It took me 2 hours to get them working again Rolleyes It was a very touch and go situation as to what USB port they were plugged into, and in what order they were inserted ( ) as to whether GBPVR would find/tune any channels! Fun. Wink
