So heres the question.

If i am WATCHING live (its not on the tuner just the Composite input) then i hit RECORD the line goes RED on the screen but doesnt record.

SO how do i record while watching live? when does it stop (when i stop watching?) or does it just contunue after you press stop?

What i need to do with record without having to set up a "manual recording" list, is this possible?
Many Thanks
Ashley

There is a quite few limitations when you start a recording this away. It'll stop recording when you stop live tv, or when the end of the current show is reached.

Are you saying your better to set a "manual record" up with times then to over ride this?

Also will this be looked at as well for any future changes?
Many Thanks

Yes, I do plan to make changes in this area in the future.

I have a question about this. I've run into this scenario many times "I'm flipping through the channels on a regular tv, when I spot something I want to record the rest of......." what's the best way to accomplish this?

1. Open up the guide on gbpvr and click "quick-record" on that show. "i'm guessing this will start recording immediately and then stop at the scheduled end of the show"

2. start timeshift tv, and press record "question is....when does it stop recording?"

It stops when you change channel, or when the show finishes.
