Good to know about this, you might want to give an extra warning with the install of the new version, so everybody can know

I notice some mention of Microsoft Antispyware. I was on the beta program for this product for many months. It never found any spyware even though Lavasoft (and several others) found lots during the same period. I finally decided it was a resource hog that was bringing nothing to the party and gave up on it just before it was officially released. I use Lavasoft now.
For anti-spy I have traditionally used AVG on all my boxes but recently read good things about Avast in this thread. So I'm trying it out on one of my machines. It's free too.
