But I can't! If I read the metadata, it gets read as question marks. Unless you can suggest how I would read the real data, unconverted?
sub Wrote:Do you mean in an XMLTV file? If there are multiple, I think it'll probably only keep the last one.
OK.

If its just a matter of the missing <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> line, then this wont stop you reading it as text in notepad or any other editor. It will stop you reading it as an XML Document from an app though.

If you cant read it in notepad, then its likely something is going wrong at the time these characters are written to the file.

That's what I thought too, but you said you think they are written OK.
Alrighty then. Waiting for next release.

Thanks Sub!

Sub, I take it that this is a 97.7 GBPVRRecordingService.exe with such a patch?
If so, it will have to wait at least until end of next week for me to test because I need to install 97.7 first, and must have a good deal of free time in case something goes wrong, and this weekend is already booked. Sorry.
Otherwise, if this is a 96.12 GBPVRRecordingService.exe, I can test it within the next few hours...
Thanks,
GGF

I really hoped you wouldn't say that :o
Especially after my stupid rant about how I'd wait with 97.7...

Hi,

Have you had chance to try it out yet? I have a few bug fixes ready to go, and it'd be nice to get this one sorted too.

Regards.

I am sorry, but I cannot go to 0.97.* yet, so I have not been able to test this.

Thanks,
