Stopping LiveTV for recording

Hi,

I have two questions:
1. Is it possible to get a message, when I'm watching LiveTV an a recording should start. At the moment, I can watch LiveTV without getting a hint, that a recording should start right now.

2. It sometimes happens, that they delay TV-Shows. Is there a way to extend the recording by 5 Minutes while the recording is running?

I do intend to add this - just havnt got around to yet.

No there isnt.

Extending a recording while it is running is a pretty nifty feature for the wish-list.

In order to avoid major trouble with the scheduler, how about extending only the post-padding? This would ensure that if a tuner is available it will work, and if not - too bad, and no fussing with creating a conflict in mid-recording.

Just a suggestion.
