Mongoose,

I am using your plugin with an ATI Remote Wonder Plus, and it seems to work very well.

A question/problem --
What determines how the TV/DVD/FM/etc. buttons are mapped?
I'm asking, because I had gone into the gbpvr config, and changed around the order of the buttons, and now the remote keys are mapped incorrectly; i.e., DVD maps to Video Library, FM maps to Net Radio, etc. I have tried rearranging the buttons again in cofig, but no arrangement seems to result in a correct mapping.

So, can you suggest how to get back to a default ordering of buttons in the gbpvr config that will match up with your mappings? Or, even better, is there any way to configure your plugin, regarding which key (DVD) maps to which button (DVD) in GBPVR?

Thanks,
Don

Is it possible for you to update this plug-in for remote wonder to work with GB-PVR 1.0.16 or to release the source code so that others could try to update it.

I'm not certain how the plug-in works but I would guess that since it seems to do nothing when GB-PVR is running that the problem is with the name change (to PVRX2) and the AreYouInFocus() method is not recognizing that GB-PVR is running.

If you will use keymaster and keyfactory from here, all will be well with the new version.

I am currently writing a new version that will work with GBPVR and PVRX2. It is still pretty buggy at the moment but once I get a chance to iron them out I will post a new version.

The old version and source code can be found at: http://www.stephencox.net/programming/gb-pvr.html.
If you want to have a go at getting it to work with PVRX2 be warned it uses window messages to communicate with GBPVR which aren't supported by PVRX2. The version I'm working on simulates key presses to get around this.

Thanks Mongoose!! I have been using your GBPVR plugin and my heart dropped when I couldn't get anything to work in PVRX2. I know I will be anxiously awaiting this release!!Big Grin

I really like the new interface - but I miss having the remote for it. Any idea on a timeline for this? - a week, a month, or - don't bother me - it is too buggy to even pretend a date....

thanks

Anyone have any word yet on a good (and fairly simple) way to make your Remote Wonder (Plus) work with the new PVRX2 interface?

Thanks!!
