Is It Possible For Newbie Sticky ?

Please tell me to be quiet but I'm feeling embarised already for asking....

Would it be possible to have a quick sticky with an simple how to set up an MVP along with some screen shots & function list ?

I'm sort of trying to evaluate how it works ( I belive it replaces the Haupauge server ) before I install it on my box as I use the MVP a lot.

Although there is some ideal info on the home page for the PVR its self the MVP is not mentioned.

Feel free to delete this if you want but although I'm techy I think some thing like that would be helpfull....

You can do almost anything through the MVP interface that you can do on the PC with GBPVR. There are a few things you can't do, but the list is pretty short.

So only just noticed.... Yes I have found the wiki and it is is very good... perhaps an FAQ may be in order... eg

The plugins that word with the MVP ( yes the info is the wiki but you have to look at each entry - same for the skins )

Some basics to follow, ie the MVP settings screen defaults to 0 for servers availble - what is the advantage to increasing or decreasing this...

The GBPVR screen saver - how can you disable the MVP one ( I believe this is a bug any way ? ) and how can you enable the MVP GBPVR one ? Not obvious its in the mics area

Prev / Next track how to ( I know this only works with play lists )

Some aspects still need the Happauge software but not active

And so on... its not the infomation is not outher but is a @@@@ to find, I'm a techy through and through ( see my web site ) and I really felt embarised having to asked these questions like a newbie....

Does that help exlpain where I'm coming from ?
