I cannot watch live TV

I am getting this message:
Video is playing back using TV out
Press 'Home' to return to the menu

Why do I get this message? How can I watch TV?

I guess you have a 350, in config-playback tab change from hardware encoding to software encoding.

I guess you have to install a mpeg2 decoder.
Hauppauge has one, there are others too.

I'm guessing its something to do with your video decoder. I've never seen this specific decoder in another user's log. It may be a nobbled version which only works with BeyondTV.

If you've got another video decoder installed, just try selecting it on the playback tab of the config app.
