hang up when using encoder passthrough

My setup

P4 630
1G DDRII ram
ATI X700 PCI-E 256MB ram display
Sapphire Theatre Pro 550 TV card

with latest ATI display and TV card driver

using GB-PVR v0.97.9

I have audio sync problem in live TV mode (no problem in recorded tv program). Audio is 0.5 sec delayed.

I searched thru the forum and many advice to use "encoder pass through" to solve the problem

however, when I select "encoder pass through", it said "microsoft MPEG-2 demultiplexer" is not registered.

after I registered "microsoft MPEG-2 demuliplexer" and start GB-PVR, the audio delay problem gone, but it freeze the machine when switching to timeshift mode

the same did not happen when selecting "none" or "ffdshow...." in deinterlacing mode.

What should I do?

I have tried to use diff. video/audio decoder but just can't find the one working!

it's ffdshow inserting itself still..maybe just the audio decoders...
try uninstalling ffdshow to check...
turn off raw only config mode if it is...
