Ok - I've finally taken a look at post processing.bat and I can see you can specify logo's to use for comskip. I took a look through the logos in my recordings directory and noticed they do definately vary a lot. Also I've seen how to skip comskip processing for specific channels - this is awesome as it annoyed me that my pc would process for ages when I recorded a rugby match - 2 hour recording with only one add break at half time.

My question is - has anyone played with using a specific logo for recordings rather than letting comskip find one.

A) - How much does it speed the comskip process? I imagine this is the first pass it does looking for a logo - how long does this normally take?

B) - Does the logo vary depending on the image its imposed on - in which case could picking a well defined logo lower the accuracy in scenes when the background is bright so there is less contrast and hence less defined edges?

C) - And to some it up is it worth playing with or am I wasting my time and likely to lower my accuracy?

I'm in New Zealand and our logos are consistent.
