Here is a kind port of the Carbon Fiber Theme by Baddabing at Xlobby

Mhm... first impression: Wow!

But something i'll see everytime: The RSS-Feed is ever @ standard. I think, that it's not looking good on this skin. Perhaps changing color of the feed, or make another color in the back of this feed.

How about putting the RSS in a separate box below ?
There should be much more work put into the panels to get this theme looking good. I'm not that satisfied with the buttons either.

Mhm, yes, the feed is now well placed :-D Now we could maximize the width, also from left to right, or what do you think?

Have you downloaded it yet...and seen how it looks like?
It is not a theme that I'm going to use.
Can't you "adopt" this theme ?

The Titivillus is more my taste.......of colors.

I would lovely do this, but i don't understand really the working of the .xml and the skins.

My last try @ making a skin based upon the blue skin ended with MANY hours work (over 100), it looked BAD and because i didn't understood the meaning of all the numbers, i tried only, till it seems to fit.

I am really not good enough for this. My strengths are: PC building, Driver Testing, OS Tweaking/optimizing.

Sometimes i TRY to do other things, but they're not so good, as i wanted ^^; For me it's easier to find bugs, than anything else.

I'll now download and try this skin.

Only one thing should be added in the Restart exe:

I am using GB-PVR EVERYTIME with high priority because LiveTV and other things shall NEVER EVER begin to stutter if i am working otherwise on the PC.

But if i change a skin and GB-PVR will be restarted it's, of course, only with "normal" priority. Is there an option to add the "start /high" command?

Will look into this for the next release (I write the ThemeManager pugin for MixMan).

Just a quick note to thank you for BaseSkin and all the Advisor packs

I've been trying out the Mayhem skins and so far, besides the slow animation in Mayhem 3, its working fine for me (i only use the standard plugins).

In any case, I'll be sure to let you know if i find any problems.

I recommend that you turn off the task animation in the config.xml file

<AnimateTaskTransitions>false</AnimateTaskTransitions>

I suggested that sub should add a checkbox for this in the config app, but I guess he forgot that.....until then you have to edit that value manually.
