xrecord archive not working

I had a power outage while gone on vacation but now have my pvr back up and running...EXCEPT the xrecord archive function?? I've got a pretty old version 96.15 of GBPVR. It used to work fine, but now nothing happens. I can play previously archived files so the drive is there and can be seen by gbpvr. Any clues?? Can I check a log somewhere to look for errors?

I've upgraded to 97.9 (xsuite as well) and archive still not doing anything? With the new version I had a problem seeing previously archived things (which are on an external USB drive) and got an error that the System Volume Information folder was not accessible. I changed the sharing so that it could be seen and now that works..but nothing happens when I try to archive...any thoughts...anyone?

more info...it seems some shows WILL archive but others will not. I cannot tell the difference between the shows that do and do not archive.

this is still plaguing me! maybe I will ask a different question...can I manually move recordings (from one drive/folder to another)? Seems like a bad idea without knowing how to modify the gbpvr.mdb file? any help is appreciated!
