Hey all,
I am new to this program, so please have patience. I am on WinXP using a dell with their standard tv tuner card and remote. I just got a camera system that outputs on the S-video cable. I would like to set up the program to use both my cable tv and the s-video for a specific channel. I was able to get the tv working, but not the S-video.
Recording Source: Direct Recording Plugin
Capture Card Type (checked only show devices detected in this machine). I selected either ATI TV wonder Elite or ATI Theater 550 Pro (I am not to sure which one to choose).
Board Number: Capture Device #1
Source: S-Video, external tuner
EPG Source: NONE
Channel Changer, no channel changer required.

I made a channel 1 just so that there is a channel.
When I try playing the live tv, I get an error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Can someone PLEASE help me set this up?

Can you reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs?

I am sorry for sounding ignorant, since I just began with the program. How do I send the log file? Where can I find it? Please have patience. Thank you.

The log files are in c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr (unless you installed to some other place). Sub will problably want all files that end with .log. You need a zip program (winzip or something like that) to zip them all up in one zip file. If you then hit "go advanced" here on the forum and scroll down a bit, there is a button "manage attachments" where you then go to the "upload file from my computer", hit "browse", find your created zip file, and then hit "open" and "upload". Wait while the "uploading file - please wait" message is showing =) Hit "close this window" and then "submit reply".
I'm not always right

I'm new to this too and haven't tried anything like using a camera, however...

Based on a very quick search - you should have the ATI Breakout Box connected to the "ATI TV Wonder Elite" and then the camera attached to the S-Video Input of the ATI Breakout Box. When you setup the capture source, then select "ATI TV Wonder Elite"

Is this any help at all?
