About 1 out of every 10 shows I record has a problem where the whole show doesn't record. But even more frustrating is that on these recordings, if I try to FF or REW, it will skip to a random spot in the video. It will skip forward or reverse regardless of the button I push. I don't see any rhyme or reason to it.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated before recording any more World Cup games. I've attached a zip with a few recent logs and config.xml hopefully showing the problem.

Many thanks!

It sounds like the PVR150 timestamp bug. See http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=14006

With this bug, the recording is typically complete, but will report an incorrect length. If you leave it playing, it plays past the reported duration. With this bug you'll get all sorts of odd behaviour if you skip or ff/rw.
