I am converting an old pc with Win XP Pro SP2 on it into a media center. I have purchased a WinTv-PVR-150 MCE kit with remote and have chosen to use GBPVR. My question is.. I've been reading several posts on here and notice many of you use the same capture card.. but i miust be missing some information... how are you getting that signal back to the tv for playback, or are most of you just viewing content on your computer monitor? I have a directv D10 reciever if that helps (no need for a HD card at this time, this is a trial and error thing since this is my first time building a media center).. it has inputs in it so I know it could work. Do I need another card altogether to get tv-out? Are there any cards out there that can do both you would recommend instead of the 150 (that also work with GBPVR)? Please let me know and I look forward to using GBPVR.

oh.. and Hello!!

Most people use a regular video card with TV out. Usually an ATI or nvidia card.
