Record Season doesn't seem to be working. I can see it in the recurring list but it doesn't record anything. Also, I can't play a program while it's recording. Didn't this used to work? I'm using .193 w/ a 350 and MVP. I did an uninstall as well as deleted the folder then did a complete reinstall. Still having problems.

So if the recording does not take place do you get a failed listing?

Is the recording service running?

The Service is running. If I select a program to record on the guide using Quick Record, it turns red and it records. If I select season record it does not turn red like it used to and it does not record. However it does show up in the Recurring menu.

Also, shouldn't I be able to watch the same file it's recording?

Hey jwells,

Sub will need to confirmthe season record. I use this option for recording the new season of "Everyone loves Raymond" on a Monday night at 9:00 and it has been fine.

I have noticed that if i try to set up a season record for each Tuesday at 8:00 on CBS and i have a programme scheduled to record at that time on Fox then i don't think the season gets scheduled correctly. I'll double check that tonight as i have not tried this in the latest version.

As for watching what you are recording, this has been asked a lot of times and currently the answer is no. You may be able to watch it on an MVP but this is on Sub's TODO list.

I can't get the season record to work under any circumstances. It also doesn't mark the program red in the guide like it used to.

I thought I used to be able watch a program that had already started recording in the past. I must be thinking of something else.

I have the same problem. It seems like a problem to connect to the recording service, but I can't find any error messages. It just doesn't record. After a while it appear in "Ready" as failed recordings.
