Well as soon as I get some time to look over the plugin code, hopefully I can make those changes for you. I do have a lot of new ideas for the plugin, just don't have the time to do it all right now. I have already started a new grabber utility that uses yahoo movies instead of fandango since fandango gets a little touchy sometimes (also thinking about having it use either or depending on what the user wants), and also add in some international support since the vast majority of gbpvr users aren't even in the US. I also have some ideas and sample code down for getting the trailers and such, and also from a couple user requests, the ability to download "Coming Soon" movie information. Hopefully I can make some room on my plate, since I'm not the inhuman Sub that can bust the code out in my sleep Smile

Brian,

I've modified the source code again. This time I added support for the Foreground Transparency setting in the skin.xml file.

Best Regards,

Brian_W or anyone else,

The popup tranparency is something I wish would go away.
The bilboard image I would like to be part of the popup composite image that can be moved and resized. (I cannot remember, but maybe everything in the popup is hardcoded)

I would like this to be positioned in the skin.xml file (key= is from my skin, ignore that)

Right now it is fixed in both directions. I added alot of spaces to position the text where I wanted.

Small laundry list..Big Grin

I wish I had taken better notes on skinning trouble.

Fatman,

So for:

<TextElement name="ReadyCantActivate" key=" You have no shows listed, Refresh" />

You want to be able to assign the location of that manually through the skin file? Like this:

<TextElement name="ReadyCantActivate" key=" You have no shows listed, Refresh" loc="0,0" />

Is this correct? If so it is pretty easy, I can add that for you if you would like.

Yes, whatever text is placed on screen, it would be nice to control where and how it is displayed.

If you get really ambitious, having it a composite image instead would be even be better. Text parameters can be controled better with <DrawText=... (which allows a skinner to set location, and size (to allow for word wrap) and be able if they want to use a image like a exclamation point or something.

I will be happy with just locating it (for nowWink ) like you posted.

Ok, well then I will definitely look into the DrawText tags you are referring to. Forgive my 'newb' questions, been doing IT and Network Admin stuff instead of programming the past few years, so bringing myself up to speed.
