Colors washed out/off

I'm running 9713, media player 10, XP and a pvr 150. I'm getting really washed out and weird colors when viewing live tv or any of my recordings. Everything looks normal when viewed in media player. Also i've noticed that videos (xvid, avi, wmv) look ok in gbpvr, just not my mpeg recordings or live tv. Has anyone seen this before?

Its most likely related to one of two things.

1) Renderer. Try switching from VMR to Overlay to see if it improves things
2) Video decoder. Try another video decoder, they all look quite different.
