Sub.

How do I over-write this patch and restore to the previous settings?

I applied the patch today to the server of my server/client setup.

The patch will not apply to the client.

In any event the display is now very disconcerting even when not using GBPVR. The monitor changes Intensity/Hue every second or so brighter then darker, Flashes ect.

Please help me to restore to my previous settings.

Thank you as always Kevin

Sub, I installed that patch you posted in another thread and it seems to have cured the stutter that was occuring every 3 or 4 seconds while watching any sort of video.

Also... I think you're on the right track with the web server causing the gbpvrrecordingservice.exe spiking the CPU with us USB-UIRT users. I haven't been able to get to my PVR via the web service since I upgraded and occasionally I accidently click on the GBPVR web service shortcut on my office machine upstairs... well last night, i accidently clicked that shortcut on my office machine. Didn't think much of it. Then noticed that I had to restart the recording service because it was using 99% when trying to watch tv... didn't put two and two together till i just read this thread here at work.

Since I haven't had time to fix the web service so i can use it again (i recall I have to delete some files in the 'web' directory or soemthing), I'll just uncechk that box like you requested and see how she does over the next couple weeks.

Thankyou!
This patch fixed my stutter problem.
Recording & playing back recordings were perfect.
But live TV was just pausing.
I thought it was my slow HD's but I was wrong.
Wish I would of looked here first instead of spending the evening playing with the PC!
