GBPVR has worked flawless for over a year. Have installed new updates as they become available and have had no issues.

Last week my mainboard failed and I rebuilt my HTPC and installed everything fresh including the new 97.13v of GBPVR.

Live TV works fine as well as FM Radio. Scheduled recording works too. The files playback fine, just no audio. If I open the files in wmp, they playback with audio. I have searched, but didn't see anything that might help.

Any idea's? Thanks.

Its probably related to the combination of audio decoders on your machine.

Try playing one of these files, then zip and attach your gbpvr.exe-native.log file and I'll take a look.

When you're playing a video, can you try pressing and holding the right arrow key?

After I did the new install, live TV and the recorded files were both mute. The right arrow key trick worked for live TV, but unfortunately not for the recorded files.

Sorry, I dont know then. If you use the forum search, I'm sure you'll find plenty of discussion about similar problems. Hopefully one of those posts will give you a solution.

Don't know how I missed it, but I did. I had the "Direct Sound: SoundMax Digital Audio" Selected for audio render instead of just "SoundMax Digital Audio". Works perfectly.

My new mainboard has a digital audio output so I am no longer using my Revo 7.1 and since radio & Live TV both worked, I thought the direct sound option was correct. Had some time tonight and went thru the settings and found my error. Thanks!
