Black screen when file has finished playing - requires crtl-alt-del

Sometimes when playing pack a file at the end of the timeline the screen goes black and GBPVR won't respond with out a crtl-atl-del

- happened twice today, including the last playback. (Vivaldi)

I've been having the same problem. I'm messing around with windows and gbpvr's own screensaver settings. I'm think gbpvr is going into screensaver mode, and for some reason the remote's "focus" is no longer on gbpvr's menu when exiting outing of a video. I'll let you know if I figure it out, but would appreciate feedback also.

More specifically, it happens when playing a video from the Video Library, and exiting by either hitting stop or back/exit on the hauppauge 45 button remote. If I hit TV on the hauppauge remote, it will go to LiveTV, and the overlay tvguide also works. But when I go back to main menu I just get a blank screen.

Just a quick update. I turned off windows screensaver as well as gbpvr's screensaver and am still having the same problem. However, I noticed if I hit the enter button twice it goes right back to playing the video, and also if i hit up or down and enter it will start playing tv or music etc. So the menu is still there, just for some reason it's not being displaying, just a blank screen. But like I said when playing a video output everything is displayed fine, even the tvguide overlayed over live tv, so it must be some kind of bug in gbpvr. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Here are my system specs just in case that helps:

I had the same issue when running purevideo and my nvida 6200. I went away completely from nvida as it caused me too much problems. I now use the hauppauge intervideo codec and an ATI card: much better TV quality and much less issues.

I switched to Custom VMR9 Renderer and it seems to have fixed the problem. I had switched to Standard VMR9 becuase the Intervideo codec didn't played nice with Custom VMR9, but now with Custom VMR9 and Purevideo everything seems to be working smoothly finally... NO MORE BLANK SCREEN.
