Error when entering System screen

I get the above log entries (among others naturally) when entering the System screen, GB gets there, but only shows the menu (tried several skins), no version numbers or disk usage is shown. Any ideas?

Which, if any, Windows component(s) does reporting the disk space rely on? The 'puter GB-PVR is on has a very stripped down version of XP. On my other machine, the system screen is working well, reporting everything as it should.

It queries the Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) to query the disk space.
