Hello All,
When installing GB-PVR version 1.4.7 I get the Error: 1904 Module C:\Program Files\Devnz\DVBSubtitles.ax failed to register. HRESULT-2147010895. Contact your support personnel.

My tuner card hardware is Hauppauge WinTV-HVR 1600 and it works fine with the Hauppauge WinTV2000 software that is supplied with the hardware. Upgrading the Microsoft versions of software has not helped.

I have upgraded from Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 to 4.0 (current version).

I have upgraded from 2005 version to Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable - x86 - 9.0.21222 running vcredist_x86.exe from Microsoft (current version)

I have upgraded Microsoft Windows XP Media Center SR2 to SR3.

The computer is a 3GHz Sony Vaio and have no other error messages, so my configuration is believed to be fine.

I have reinstalled everything several times but always get the Error 1904 regardless of the version upgrade of Microsoft necessary components. I have Googled the problem extensively and seem to be doing everything right in accordance with help found on the Internet from this forum, but can't get thru the GB-PVR installation without getting the 1904 error. It is for all other components too: GBPVERWriter.ax, PsiParser.ax, WSTSRTDigital .ax, GBPVRTSReader.ax, Scflt.dat, GBPVRTSMon.ax.

I clicked IGNORE for each that is not registered, then get further errors for the .NET Framework and finally an Unhandled exception error occurred (error windows).

The GB-PVR software sounds like it is exactly what I want to use. Does anybody have any idea what the problem might be.

Thanks, rkircher
