Hi, Gbpvr is working great, I normally watch my recordings through tv out- but now and again I like to sit at the computer to watch. The problem is- I used to be able to watch my recordings via Windows media player and everything was working fine. Lately however, I've run into a few problems. The first- when I open up one of the recordings in windows media player, I get sound but NO VIDEO. I'm unsure of why this happened all of a sudden. The second- when I navigate to recordings directory, (In my case, it is an entirely seperate drive from the OS drive) ex: E:/media/videos- when i open "videos" an error pops up on the screen - i'm sure everyone is familiar with it ...."Windows explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close, we are sorry for the inconvenience" ya know, that whole bit. This gets annoying, because I also use the same folder for streaming to my website. All of this worked fine- til one random day. I never made any changes that i am aware of. Anyone know whats going on??? Please help.

P.S. As for my website- the videos just sort of hang at "connecting"....but whatever.

I know this may not be gbpvr related, but I figured someone might know a fix for it. Ya'll have helped me out so much in the past- i figured it was worth a shot.

My guess is you installed some app that installed a new video decoder, changing the default decoder that is used, and the new one is crap. You could try downloading the Microsoft deccheck utility to check which is the default decoder and/or change the default to the decoder of your choosing.
