MVP v1.0 (on screen before boot) screen saver

Hi

I have GBPVR v0.97.13 install and 2 MVP units, both V1.0 firmware (says on the screen before it boots) so how come on one the GBPVR black screen do-dad comes on when left a while but the other has the Hauppauge logo when left a while????

Hows that possible???

Ive restarted both MVP units and it still does it, they both work fine, just thought i would ask...

My guess is you changed one of them with the hauppauge-software.
Probably disabled the hauppauge screensaver in it.

I sometimes get one logo and sometimes the other, on my single MVP. sub has fixed it for the next release I understand. AFAIAA it's in the dongle, not the Hauppage s/w or services, which I do not have installed.

Ok that rules out my suggestion. When you are bored you could do some extensive comparison of all dongles, you probably have every (mvp)dongle there is.

Nice, nothing like seing abit of randomness from a manufacture, especially Hauppauge.

I dont have any Hauppauge software loaded either, just the driver for the PVR card, everything is GBPVR driven (except the DHCP which is another software).
