I'm sorry I called the music section, my music, but the plugin I was reffering to was myalbums2, in which it does say "This plugin has been tested with GB-PVR v94.08 and above"

That MusicAlbumsII plugin is somewhat "old" and may not work 100% with newer versions of GB-PVR.
It is a hit-or-miss on many of the plugins that pre-date v0.97 (since upgrade to .Net 2.0) gbpvr and that plugin author has not been around for quite some time to support the plugin.

sure the problem I was having was using it with the apperance plugin. I suppose that maybe if I only used plainjain with appearance plugin that everything might work. I did a clean intall with a few plugins and when I'd click on certain menus the problems I would get was that the object couldn't be found and it was always some xml file maybe under the skin folder.
I really liked the appearance of plainjane. Really would like to use it and do like all the work that was put into it. I'm just trying to take one plugin at a time. I'm using the release canaidate for mymusic and myvideo and I was just shocked at all the work and features that went into the software. There's some bugs, but for the most part I am pleased to see all the features avaiable and even features I wouldn't have even thought about adding, but now I'm very happy it's there. I'll be looking forward to a stable build of these two plugins when they are avaiable as well. The theatre and weather plugin do seem to be very very stable. The more time I spend on here and wiki the more plugins I think are nice, but I feel like I might be introducing more problems and it would be nice to isolate some of the problems I'm experiencing. Right now I'm using the bar volume on volumeOSD, which I'm happy with and will be hopefully looking for a release with some fixes. |
