When I first created a lineup in zap2it, eveything worked fine, but I did not list all my channels since I was still "experimenting".
Now all is working fine, I went to my zap2it account, and checked (enabled) all my other channel. Did a EPG update from GBPVR config, and all seems OK.
BUT, when I go the TV Guide in GBPVR, I see all my channels listed, but only the old channels had programming and shows listed with them, the other 'new channels' I added only show their channel titles with no programming present (the row is just all BLANK in GBPVR).

I fixed this by going back to zap2it account, DELETED my old lineup, then created a new lineup where I added all my channel, updated my GBPVR config, and now eveything is all right..

It would be convenient to be able to update my zap2it lineup with any new channels I am interested in (or just purchased) without the need to delete the whole lineup, and re-create and select all channels again.

ANOTHER minor thing, when I hit Empty GBPVR (ver 214), it displays a message of warning, but after I hit OK, nothing happens. i.e. I still see all the channels listed in the Listbox.
Would be nice to provide visual update indicating those channels are truely deleted (even if you re-start config, it still shows the channels you emptied).

Not trying to be critical, but trying to make a very good and nice software even better [Image: smile.gif]

Cheers...

I've had this problem as well. One not so friendly solution that I've seen posted is to reinstall. I would think that there's a config file somewhere that could just be deleted to clear out all the channels.

Empty EPG should do as it says, but an alternative to uninstalling/re-installing would be to delete your capture src entry, hit ok, and exit out of the config app.

Then go back into the config app and add in your new capture src. This should address your EPG issues,

Cheers,
Colin.

Yes, 'Empty EPG' doesn't delete any channels. It simply removes any programmes listed against the channels. To remove the channels you need to delete the capture source, and read add it. This is usually a two minute job.

You wouldn't have needed to delete and recreate you zap2it line. 'Empty EPG' would have corrected it. It would have downloaded the listing, but they'd only become available in 8 days. They appeared to be blank rows, but they would have listings starting in about 8 days.

What happends:
- The very first time GB-PVR downloads zap2it listings, it downloads 8 days worth of listings.
- Each subsequent download requests the listing in the date range: last listing we already have through to a maximum of 8 days from now. e.g. if it updates each day, it usually only grabbing the 8th day.

By 'emptying the epg', GB-PVR will grab the full 8 days again which would have cause these shows to turn up.

Its not an easy thing to program around. I dont know there are additional channels until I've already downloaded the listings from zap2it, and I can only specify a date range for all the channels (not individual ones). This quirky behaviour does not affect XMLTV or bleb.
