jorm,
I've noticed for quite a while there's a bug in XRecord where it can present you with the wrong program folder. To explain:
Imagine that under Ready recordings, I have folders/posters for 8 or more different program titles. (And for each of those titles, there may be several shows recorded in those folders/posters.) So, on my screen I show 2 rows of 4 program titles, called them A1, A2, A3, A4 on the first row, and B1, B2, B3, B4 on the second row.
Now imagine I select B2 and then watch one of the recorded shows under folder/program-title B2. While I'm watching, a new show for a different program title (for which there hadn't previously been any recording, and therefore wasn't a program-title/folder) finishes recording. If alphabetically, the new program title precedes B2, for example, then on a new display the program title for B1 would be positioned where B2 had been. When I'm done watching my show from program title B2, and exit the menu for the show, I get mistakenly put into the list of shows for program title B1. In other words, XRecord seems to be relying on the program-title/folder position from which I started, rather than the present position of that title.
I think it also fails in the other direction. That is, if I'm watching a show under title/folder B2, and one of the alphabetically earlier titles has all its shows deleted so the program title/folder is deleted, then when I exit the menu for the B2 show, I end up positioned within title/folder B3, which shifted left because of the deletion.
Does the explanation make sense?
Cheers .... Bob
