Once I have the money and this scenario is an actual feature I want to have a second GBPVR machine for the bedroom. The feed would be satellite. My wife and kids normally watch TV in the bedroom which has a ReplayTV PVR using a satellite feed. I normally watch TV in the living room. However, there are times the kids and sometimes my wife want to watch their recorded content in the living room. And there are times I want to watch my recorded content in the bedroom or finish a DVD there without having to pull it out of the living room and carry it and insert it and find where I left off. The TV viewing is mostly in the same hours, between 7 PM and 10 PM so its not like we can take turns. Also I only want my content on one system and the wife and kids content on another system. Basically I envision this as an extension of the client built into 98.8 with each system being a host and a client. Could a plugin be built where I can do this? Or does fileshare in the client setup do this but with the scheduled recordings specific to each machine? What if I want to watch LIVETV on the opposite system due to the capture card being busy. If not I guess I could get two MVPs apart from two GPBVR HTPCs but that would be an extra cost of $200 US?
