Hi,

A clean install of GPVR09808 fails with the following errors:

Internal Error 2908
{A31FFC4C-7A78-4B48-B816-571BE429ECB9}

ERROR 1935. An error occurred during installation of assemble ......

Installation Ended Prematurely Because of an error.

My environment:

Windows XP (SP2)
Hauppauge WinTV-HVR 1100 (works perfectly with WinTV).

Prior to the GB-PVR installed, I ran hwclear.exe, and re-installed all drivers. Since the failed GB-PVR I re-installed WinTV, and it is working ok.

Does GPVR09808 require a pre-installation of GB-PVR or is it a full install. Any ideas or suggestions on how to proceed ?

Thanks for your help

Sounds like a corrupt download or something. Maybe try downloading it again.

Sub, Dottore,

Thanks for the prompt reply. I'll download again- does it include .Net ?

Cheers

No, you will need to install .net 2.0 (if you haven't already) yourself.

Stefan,

Thanks. I'm embarrassed. The home page of GB-PVR makes it very clear - in bold and red even - that .Net is needed!

Doh ....

Cheers
