Does anyone else with convertX have problems with smooth recording? the only program that ive found to record smoothly with it was windvr5, but gb-pvr is so incredible, i want to use it. the sound is always good, and live tv is fine, but when i hit record, it results in video quality being sorta choppy looking, like its not getting enough fps or something. anyone know a solution with the convertx unit? (convertx has been nothing but a headache)

well, i switched it to mpeg-2 instead of mpeg-4, and it seems like its working ok now...but it seems like it "skips" like a bad dvd every once and a bit.

I've the same problem with my flydvb-t Hybrid. This is beacause gbpvr record always at 29 fps instead 25 fps and I can't change it whatever I do.
Any advice?

GB-PVR does not support analog TV on the flydvb-t Hybrid, so it wont be the same problem as this poster. You must be using the Software Recorder Plugin, in which case it will be responsible for the incorrect frame rate for your video standard.
