Just checking, I had bad experiences when adding plugins to 98.08 and had ContourHC in use; I did a lot of things at once and I ended up having to go back to 96.x and start over as something was really not compatible. I"m not sure exactly what was the problem--

Trying to save some headache Smile when I work on the setup tonight-- is ContourHC known OK with 098? Wiki just mentions tested through 96.12-
I like countourHC and would prefer to install everything directly into it, but sticking with plain Blue for now-

thanks!

I'm certainly using it without any problems specific to the skin with 98.8

I do have a problem with musiclibrary2 but it seems to happen across all skins

I'm also not sure how close to the issued version of contourhc my copy is as I have twaeked lots of things here and there

but yes it seems to work fine

It works fine for me with the basic install of 98.8. I haven't had time to install any plugins to see that it still works with them ATT.

If you want a similar look to Contour, Sassari or a combination of lots of others you could also try out the Community Skin. Supports all 70+ core screens and plugins.

I'm working with 98.8 running ATSC with 0 problems. Only problem I had (which I dont think was the skin) is that if you have the news ticker installed, your recordings (while the ticker is running) will be corrupt. This might be just an ATSC feature, but nevertheless hard to troubleshoot and track down. Smile

ShinningDragon discovered there is something up with the ticker and it ends up being a resource hog.

For testing purposes I switched back to sub's standard skin. I there discovered that ContourHC is cutting of the most important date-time information from the top of the wheather maps.

I produced a slightly adapted skin.xml for the Weather Plugin. The times of the maps is now displayed at the bottom of these maps, because it gives a better contrat there.
Skin is in the attach. Unzip to C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\skin\ContourHC\weather\ or whatever path you use yourselves.
