In 2.14, I can't schedule to "Record Season in this Timeslot" of Tough Crowd, which comes on at 11:30PM and 1:30AM. It lets me go through the dialog and click Record, but then the square in the grid doesn't turn red.
The Daily Show works okay, and comes on at 11:00PM and 1:00AM.
Quick Record succeeded in turning the grid red.

If you go back to the main screen after scheduling the season recording, then return to the tv guide, does it go red?

I haven't read many other posts in this form, but I am having a similar problems.

At the moment it is ignoring my request for a season pass for tough crowd. I had it as a season pass before, and the entry for it is still under "recurring", but it just stopped recording them at one point, and none of them are marked red. If I try to select one and set another season pass nothing happens. It doesn't go red and doesn't get listed under "pending".

I've had the problem where it disregards setting a season pass before. Also, I seem to have a lot of problems with shows not being recorded and not being scheduled (shown as red in the listings), even though there are no other red listings in that timeslot that would cause a conflict.

This probably belongs in the "wishlist" section, but there should be some sort of notice if scheduling a recording creates a conflict. For situations where recording is scheduled automatically through a season pass maybe there should be a screen to view conflicts and resolve them. Season passes could even be assigned a priority for when conflicts of this sort occur, i.e. if the simpsons and tough crowd are in conflict, simpsons would by default be recorded if it had a higher preference.

No, it never goes red.
As bLeck said, Tough Crowd shows up in the list of Recurring shows, more than once as I tried a couple of times to add it, but it's grid doesn't go red, and it doesn't show under Pending, and nothing else is pending at 11:30.
Thanks.

I have the exact same problem. I select season (the timeslot option) for the daily show @11:00 PM. The show timeslot on the guide never goes red.

This might be a related side-effect, but I notice that if I go to Recordings, and select Reocurring, the entry is there. If I get out of Reoccurring and go to, say, Pending or Available, the first entry on each list disappears. If I return to the reocurring list, my selection is not there.

Seems that the action of navigating out of one of the categories (Avail, Pending, Reocurring) causes the first item on each list to be hidden.

Once this happens, if I select Main Menu, then go back to the Recordings section, the first entry is back.

Should I reset my MDB (delete it then re-install)? I'd hate to have to do this because I would eventually lose my "available" list. I'm a developer, so I could re-create it (if I had to).

I'm Using v 0205 under WindowsXP SP1 with a PVR250, in case you need the info.

Thanks again for a great development effort on this package. I'm looking to contribute a couple of plugin ideas soon.

Best Regards,

This bug is still there in .238. I set a recurring recording for the Daily Show at 11:00. It doesn't schedule for today or tomorrow at 11:00. It doesn't show that it's going to record anything else in that slot today. It did schedule recording for 2 days from now.

For today and tomorrow, I have shows scheduled that end at 11:00, but for two days from now, there is nothing just before The Daily Show. Perhaps this is a problem with the seconds, that was previously reported, or with the padding?

I didn't attempt to fix this in this release, so I'm not surprised its still there. That said, I did add some logging that should help us detect what is happening. Please do the following:

- start GB-PVR
- go into the "Recordings" screen.
- cancel any episodes of the Daily Show listed on the pending screen.
- close GB-PVR
- start the Config app
- edit you capture source
- hit the 'Update EPG' button
- let the EPG update finish, then close out of the config app
- email all the log files from c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr to me at support@devnz.com

If I can get good information on the problem, I'm sure I can include a fix in the maintenance release I'm hoping to do this weekend.
