that did get rid of that error and now i get a picture... but it's only 1 frame. live tv doesn't actually play i just get 1 frame of live tv and it essentially freezes.

i get this error when trying to watch live tv (and i get some error about file playback when i try to play a recording).

i've attached the logs... i'm clueless as to what the problem is.

the problem started when i installed an XP codec pack. however, the reason i installed the codec pack in the first place was because when i tried to watch live tv with gbpvr it would just be lines (no picture) and it would record as snow.

Try switching the renderer from VMR9 Custom to VMR9.
