Hi
I have a Freecom DVB-T working OK with the supplied software app.
Now I have installed GB-PVR, and have tried to set it up as follows:
In the configurator:
Create capture Source; 'BDA recording plugin'; Settings: Device: Freecom DVB Type 2.
Selected my local transmitter, and updated the EPG.
The channel list is now visible.
'Map digital channels to EPG channels' produces an error:
'GP-PVR was unable to start the BDA device you have configured. Check the device is configured properly, and not already in use.'

Any ideas? Doinf something wrong?

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

Try "re-register filters" in the program menu

If you have good reception, then its probably related to the video/audio decoder you're using.

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach your gbpvr.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.

Which version of the Freecom stick?

The original one didn't have BDA drivers and thus has to use alternate drivers to make it work with GBPVR, read the whole of this extensive thread first:-

http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...reecom+dvb

If it's the newer one which says "MCE Compatible" on the box then it should have BDA drivers. Again, read the other thread because you will need to run graphedit to get the names of the appropriate bits to stick into bda.ini if they're not already there.

Come back when you know which version you have.

David.
I got carried away: 3 DVB-T tuners, a DVB-S tuner, 3 MVP's and 1.1TB of storage space Smile
